ENERMAX set the power supply benchmark creating GALAXY, the world's first high-performance PSU capable of powering the latest systems using multi-core CPUs, multi-card graphics, and 24 drives, all at 122°F. The next generation of systems including servers, graphic design workstations and enthusiast gaming platforms, will have up to five PCI Express cards or two PCI Express 2.0 cards plus one normal card for physical computing. The PCI Express 2.0 standard was released earlier, introducing new connectivity and power options for a wide range of products.

a [EDITOR'S CHOICE GOLD]
"The Enermax Galaxy DXX PSU performed very well in all of our strenuous testing conditions. While the Galaxy DXX is not the power supply for everyone, if someone is looking for a power supply that will do exactly what it is labeled to do while supporting "next generation" video cards, or large disk arrays under demanding circumstances with ease, the Enermax Galaxy DXX is certainly worthy of their consideration."

[BEST HARDWARE AWARD]
This PSU is extreme in all its ways. For the money, you receive a fantastic quality PSU with sleeved and long modular cables, high performance output and a very safe and protected environment wrapped up in a very silent package. Please do not hesitate on buying this PSU as everything about it is recommendable. If you are in the extreme high-end segment looking for a PSU, or even better, in the market for Quad whatever, then the Enermax Galaxy 1000W is something you should definitely put on your wish-list as I can recommend it wholeheartedly. Armed with a three year warranty this is a next-gen ready PSU; it's a monster in a box!
a "K|ngp|n and I were able to push the X6800 up over 5.1Ghz with up to 1.9v, a fairly good push but it was very impressive to see how stable the voltages were at top speed. We dialed in the vcore with precision and the power supply worked flawlessly. No VC clocks on the score below but it was as the only saved 3D run above 5Ghz..."
a "Overall, the Galaxy DXX 1000 Watt at around ~$340, is a good deal for what it offers. It offers 3 6-pin PCI-Express power cables for the latest graphics cards and a up to three 8-pin PCI-Express power cables for a future PCI-Express graphics card or possibly other add on cards. Basically, this power supply will not become obsolete for a long while, and is certainly prepared to take on future computer components. This power supply also offers lots of power cable connections for graphics cards, CPU's, devices that use Molex power plugs, and Serial ATA devices so users are not as limited as to what peripherals they can put in their computers and power up."
a "The Enermax Galaxy isn't just a tank, its a mobile command station. This thing has enough juice to power 3 standard desktops easily. If it can do that, its definately up to the task of our Get Ready for Vista Gaming PC. With rock solid rails, virtually endless component possibilities, and an 85% efficiency rating, the Enermax Galaxy 1000W is almost too good to be true. Ah, but we've yet to mention cost. As you'll notice in the advertisement below, the Galaxy 1000W power supply aint cheap by any means. But as with all good things, you do get what you pay for, and the Enermax Galaxy certainly does bring the goods..."
a [ELITE PICK]
"Enermax's timing is impeccable. Just when there is a need for a PSU that can deliver enough power for the latest crop of video cards, the Galaxy Gamer hits the market. If you're going to shell out $1200+ for a couple of 8800GTX's, you don't want to skimp on the power supply. 350 bucks doesn't seem that high when you have that kind of hardware installed..."

"Who would have thought that 1000W power supplies would have been required to power computer gaming systems? Well, that is the case if you have a dual or quad video card setup with lots of hard drives. The other scenario is a server with 20+ hard drives. This power supply would have no problem powering the most demanding computer system that's currently on the market. This product also stands out from many because it has a PowerGuard feature to protect computer hardware, and it has a 135mm fan. Its Galaxy name is very fitting because it has all the power in the world! Watch the Video to find out more..."
