Normally, nobody can dare to claim such, but we can, because we have implemented all necessary for the future: Four 12p sockets for possible connector changes & six massive 12V rails of 30A each for perfect load distribution and flexibility, no matter what is coming up. Besides complying already to the upcoming EPS12V PSU Design Guide, especially the ZERO LOAD Design assures compatibility. By needing no load at all, we can anticipate to have no issues at all with any new CPU or GPU or their features like C6 state or Hybrid Modes.

	If you are looking for the best of the best in this roundup, you need not look any further than the Enermax Revolution85+. The numbers it posted were simply awe-inspiring but the real star of this performance was efficiency. Considering the fact that there were other 80Plus Silver rated products being tested, we expected power consumption to be close and it was…up until the Extreme Load test where this Enermax PSU ate the competition for breakfast.
	It has been over a year since the Revolution85+ was released in the 1050W flavor, but the price is still around $275 from Etailers like Shoplet and Underbid. The MSRP is slightly justified by the six 12V rails, the build quality, and the stable output, but is still out of many price ranges in this economy. The hefty weight is understandable because of the specs, but it makes the PSU an afterthought in the world of LANboxes and the idea of portable desktops and mods.
	There is no doubt that the Enermax Revolutions 950W power supply is truly a great unit; it encompasses great performance, efficiency, and style into a single unit, perfect for any enthusiast.
	First of all, it is the Enermax Revolution 85+ ERV1050EWT. Enermax has promised a power supply with best possible specs and seems to have delivered it. This is a quiet, high-wattage, stable PSU with a generous selection of connectors and excellent efficiency. Enermax is the best product in this review. Summing up the results of our today’s test session we are proud to award Enermax Revolution 85+ ERV1050EWT (1050 W) power supply unit with our prestigious Editor’s Choice title as the best 1000 W+ power supply unit:
	The Enermax Revolution 85+ 1050W is a brute of a power supply in just about every conceivable manner of criteria: it's strong, durable, and attractive. It can handle just about anything you can throw at it and will provide rock solid stability and power for your precious system.
	Before this review we had been using the Corsair HX1000 as our gold standard to which we measured all other 1000W power supplies against but the Revolution changed all of that. When it comes to performance, other than a small slip in the +12V readings to the 8-pin PCI-E connector, Enermax’s poster child eclipsed the Corsair flagship again and again. However, we have to remember that our Corsair sample has seen over 1000 hours of use while the Revolution had run less than a tenth of that before the benchmarks were run. Could this have influenced the charts? Only time will tell as we stack both PSUs up against more competition in the months to come.
	It's difficult not to like the Enermax REVOLUTION 85+ 850W PSU. Build quality is excellent, the modular connectors are good, and the performance - especially efficiency - is fantastic. Enermax is able to do all this and keep the 135mm fan pretty quiet, even at full load, so there's lots and lots of good here.
	The Enermax Revolution 85+ stands out in terms of technologies. This is the first PSU tested in our labs that delivers an efficiency higher than 90%. It features an ideally balanced dual-transformer circuit capable of working at any load from zero watts, a synchronous rectifier on the +12V rail (it is the first time I see such a solution!), and dedicated DC-DC converters. Enermax’s engineers have done a good job on this product. If you are interested in power electronics and want to know how computer PSUs will develop in near future, the Revolution 85+ is a good example to study.
	The Revolution 85+ platform was an exceptional performer at 1250W and 1050W, and for the most part the 850W is no exception. You get the same excellent voltage stability and ripple suppression, combined with the same outstanding efficiency.
	The Enermax Revolution 1050W came into our testing with big shoes to fill in a cut-throat market segment, but once the dust settled the Revolution was just that; a Revolution. From its upgraded component selection, to its vastly improved DC Output quality, low noise level, and its AMAZING efficiency the Revolution had few faults and many high points.
	Enermax continues to raise the bar with the introduction of their new Revolution85+ power supply units. The Revolution85+ 1,050W exhibited excellent efficiency, very good voltage regulation, with relatively clean DC outputs and quiet operation. And Enermax includes an excellent compliment of both fixed and modular cables/connectors to distribute over 1,000W of power. If you are looking for a top quality PSU in the 1,000+W range, this one will be hard to beat.
	With the Revolution 85+ series, Enermax comes in like a lion and goes out like a lion. Not only is the 1050W model possibly the most efficient unit of its size on the market to date, nearly everything else about it is drool worthy from the connector counts to the voltage stability to the ripple suppression to the six cool velcro cable ties they give you.
	Even though these power supplies are anything but cheap, we are confident in making the statement that the Enermax Revolution 85+ is currently the most advanced consumer power supply available. It offers exceptional efficiency, voltage regulation, temperatures, and has very good build quality.
	Revolution85+ 1250W won the best Award of Driverheaven, “Hardware Gold Award”. Driverheaven is one of the most important media and the larger hardware and review websites in the UK. The Editor says that Revolution85+ is the best PSU they ever tested and it knocked the corsair HX1000W off the top spot. PSU ACHIEVED 92% EFFICIENCY AT 50% LOAD!!
