Everybody wants it all: Efficient & stable power for her or his PC and without hearing it running, all at an affordable price!

Being certified as 80 PLUS is quite a must-have to minimizing the electricity bill, but having ENERMAX’ patented SpeedGuard fan control with the acknowledged lowest noise profile worldwide, won’t let you hear the 12cm ball-bearing fan working, while saving your money. The as well patented AirGuard inlet reduces air-turbulences furthermore. The FUTURE ready! 12P socket offers upgradability for possible future CPU or GPU connectors. Being in a true ATX standard housing of only 140mm length let it fit even in most HTPC systems. An 115% capacity transformer and a special heavy-duty version Japanese main capacitor keep the output stable even at full load, while TRIPLE AC + DUAL DC EMI Filter keep the current cleaner than others, making it 24/7 @ 40°C ready!.

But ECO80+’s key feature is safety. As the world’s first PSU series, it obtains a dual UVP (under voltage) protection by having dedicated AC UVP (brown-out protection) & DC UVP for output integrated in the industry-leading SafeGuard function with additional OCP, OPP/OLP, SCP, OTP and OVP protections.

a Bleeding edge of power supplies are pushing 90% efficiency (and $200), it's good to see that the lower end of the market is thriving as well. The Eco80+ is Enermax' economy line, but it's still a very worthy power supply. Sure, it's not really tops in any particular category, but it still exceeds the requirements of most systems out there.
a The Enermax ECO80+ 620W is the third unit based on the design first introduced by the MODU82+ 625W we have seen to date, and to date it is the best rounded unit. The ECO80+ had good voltage regulation, good efficiency values, was quiet, and featured very good DC Output Quality. The one down side was the Transient Load Testing results which were not the best but were in line with what we saw from the MODU82+. As such, the ECO80+ is the best rounded example of this platform because it has all the characteristics we have come to expect from the platform (minus modular cables) at the best price.
a Undeniably the overall performance of the Eco 80+ 620W is excellent and should easily meet the expectations of any user buying a product in its class. Despite it being a product designed with value in mind, Enermax have loaded it with features and tried to make it as aesthetically attractive as possible. The manufacturing quality and the quality of its components are excellent, making the Eco 80+ 620W a highly reliable product.
a The new ECO 80+ power supplies from Enermax are basically Liberty ECO PSUs with fixed cables.  The ECO 80+ 620W power supply delivered very good voltage regulation with clean outputs and good efficiency.  Along with that, the ECO 620W is quiet during normal operation.  Throw in support for high-end graphic adapters, a compact chassis that will fit in most any style case, and a good assortment of peripheral connectors and you have an attractive PSU.
a While there are many power supplies that have much higher capacity, and are much more flashy, sometimes what we need is something that just works.  The ECO80+ does just that, and without any complaint.  There is no doubt that this unit should be more than sufficient for any single-GPU system on the market today.  Add on top of that the very cool and quiet performance of this unit, and the vast majority of users should be very pleased.
Enermax ECO80+ 620 W is identical to Enermax Liberty ECO 620 W but without the modular cabling system and with the quiet magnetic fan with batwing blades, with the great advantage of being USD 20-40 cheaper. If you are building a mainstream PC, Enermax ECO80+ 620 W won’t let you down: typical efficiency of 85%, extremely stable voltages and very low ripple and noise levels.
a In the Eco 80+ 620W, Enermax has basically taken the outstanding platform I first saw in the Liberty Eco 620W, removed the modular cabling option as well as a connector or two, and added a gimmicky "twister bearing" fan in order to target people who would rather have silence than modularity. In this respect, they did a pretty good job.
