a Have to start by reminding you all this case can be purchased for under £35, so it was never going to be perfect. The way the side panels attach does feel very cheap, and space is somewhat limited. Other than that though I think this case is an absolute bargain. All the fan intakes have dust filters including the optional side panel fans. Even though the cabling was quite messy inside the thermal performance was quite respectable considering the amount of hardware we shoe-horned inside the tight spaces inside the case. The test gear really did feel like a well endowed gentleman trying to squeeze into something tight!
a The Enermax Staray chassis has simple lines and is quite easy on the eyes, it is not an overly ornamental case nor is it completely unadorned. The addition of the Apollish fans is really what dresses this case up, with multiple lighting options at just the click of a button. There are dust filters in the front bezel of the chassis which is always nice to see, especially on the intake fans to help reduce dust and pet hair from entering your case and jamming up the works. The front I/O panel is simple and doesn't have a full feature set of ports but it does the job.
a Enermax Staray is a mid-tower case for users that want a good case but don’t want or can’t pay more to have a case with superior quality.
In conclusion I think the Enermax would be an awesome case for the gamer on a budget who is looking for a nice edgy case that wont break the bank. The tool-less drive mounting options are something not normally seen in midtower cases. The Apollish fans are a nice touch and give the case even more character.
